Mental Health Professional (MHP)

Loving Hearts is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Mental Health Professional (MPH). In this role, you will help provide the necessary mental health treatment, skills training, and social supports needed to enhance our clients' everyday functioning.

​

REQUIREMENTS​:

  • You MUST possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field.

  • You MUST have completed at least one (1) year of professional experience providing direct services to people with serious mental illness (practicum and internship experience is accepted).

  • You MUST have reliable transportation.

  • You MUST have a valid state driver’s license in good standing.

  • You MUST have valid and current automobile insurance.

  • You MUST pass a pre-employment background check.

  • You MUST be registered or eligible for registration with their respective boards.

  • THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION.  You MUST be able and willing to work full-time.

Direct Service Worker (DSW)

We are seeking reliable, responsible, dependable, and dedicated people to care for clients in their homes. You must be caring and compassionate and have a passion for this field of work.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Medication reminders

  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasks

  • Meal preparation

  • Assisting with bathing

  • Assisting with community outings

  • Monitoring and supervision of well-being


REQUIREMENTS:

  • You MUST have reliable transportation

  • You MUST have a valid state driver’s license in good standing

  • You MUST have valid and current automobile insurance

  • You MUST pass a pre-employment background check​

  • You MUST undergo a motor vehicle check

  • You MUST have CPR/First Aid Certification within 45 days of the hire date.

 

PREFERRED:

  • CAN Certificate

  • CMA Training
